Institute presentation

The BARI ASL is one of the largest regional public Health Authorities of Italy. The Territorial Unit of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (UONPIA) of Bari is part of the Department of Mental Health ASL BARI. ASL BARI has about 600.000 inhabitants, of whom over 100,000 are children. The UONPIA takes care of all the psychiatric and neurological problems that affect children under 18 years. We also deal with issues relating to the delinquency of minors, child abuse, etc.. We follow a large number of patients with Tourette syndrome.
