Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel (SCMCI) is the only tertiary children’s medical center in Israel, and serves the whole country.

The medical center is affiliated to Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. The Feinberg Child Study Center is an integral unit of SCMCI and comprises a number of specialty clinics in the field of Paediatric Mental Health including the Matta and Harry Freund Neuropsychiatry Tourette Clinic.

The Tourette Clinic is the largest centre of its kind in Israel. There are 200 new admissions per year and the total patient load is around 1,500. The staff is multidisciplinary comprising paediatric neurologists, psychiatrists, neurophysiologists, rehabilitation psychologists and clinical psychologists. The TS clinic is active academically and is the training site for many interns, fellows, and students from all these disciplines. The clinic also has extensive collaborations with centres in the US and Europe including Yale University (Jim Leckman), Cornell (John Walkup), UCLA (John Piacentini) and Wisconsin (Doug Woods).
