Institute presentation

The Department of Paediatrics and Child Neuropsychiatry is a tertiary referral centre involved in advanced research, and is a centre of clinical and academic excellence. The Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit is the biggest centre in Rome. With thousands of patients from all over Italy, it deals with clinical care and research in developmental disorders, rare and neurometabolic diseases, childhood and adolescent psychiatric pathologies and neuropsychological disorders. High experienced doctors and university professors collaborate within the Department in research, prevention and treatment of child and adolescent neurological, psychiatric and neuropsychological diseases.
